Tony Bennett’s career has spanned over 70 years and has been a journey of agony and ecstasy. This evening will be a tribute to a life and career which has succeeded in winning 20 grammy awards, lifetime achievement awards, an Emmy award, Billboard music awards, Academy Award, Soul Train music awards and many others!
He has worked with and recorded with the very best musicians and performers of the last century. Legends such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Barbara Streisand, Amy Winehouse as well as contemporaries like Lady Gaga, Diana Krall, Sting, KD Lang and John Mayer to name a few.
He was Frank Sinatra’s favourite singer. Frank was quoted saying that Bennett was the best he ever heard

These wonderfully talented musicians with a wealth of knowledge and experience can be seen regularly performing around Melbourne’s jazz clubs and accompanying many local, interstate and international visiting jazz artists
