Saturday, 16th August marks the anniversary of the day our world lost one of its greatest voices, Aretha Franklin. Join us on this very special evening as we welcome Michaela Jayde to the Royal Brighton Yacht Club with her unmissable show, “QUEEN OF SOUL”, to celebrate and pay tribute to the great Aretha Franklin. Together with her electrifying 8-piece band, Michaela will be performing some of the songs that helped make this powerhouse artist a household name across multiple generations.
Throughout her career, Michaela has had the privilege of working with an impressive array of artists, including Teddy Swims, Tones & I, Stan Walker, Jerome Farah, Ben Abraham, THNDO, Tarryn Stokes, and many others. She gained further recognition following her appearance on The Voice Australia Season 12, where her unforgettable Blind Audition resulted in the fastest four-chair turn of the season. More recently, she graced the stage at Vision Australia’s Carols By Candlelight, further solidifying her place as one of the city’s sought-after performers.
